Hey hi. I have a compaq presario cq42-173 tu. Even i have the same problem with my display although Hp has replaced my screen 2months back. But my display fades and becomes full after opening any application and sometimes movies also. Ok tell me one thing that does it happen also when you laptop runs on A/c power or happens only while on battery? And how old is your laptop?
